Unisign Milling Machines

UNISIGN was founded in 1973 as an Engineering Company for tooling, fixturing and special purpose machines for the metal cutting industry. The first CNC-Machining Centre was introduced in the early eighties and was developed mainly for drilling and tapping applications. Throughout the years, these early drilling and tapping centres have evolved into a complete range of high-end precision machining centres that can be classified into four categories:

UNIVERS
Travelling column vertical CNC-Machining Centres. The large working area is ideal for long work pieces or multisided pendulum machining in two cells.

UNIPRO
High-speed vertical CNC-Machining Centre in single station and pendulum set-up. Available as 3-axis and 5-axis machine with clamping tables, rotary tables as 4th axis or rotating & tilting tables for true 5-axis machining.

UNIPORT
Portal CNC-Machining Centres available in Gantry Design with travelling bridge and fixed table and also as Portal Machine with fixed bridge and moving table. These machines can be executed as a single moving table, a “Twin-Table” and pallet changer version.

UNICOM
Vertical CNC-Machining Centres with a fixed portal bridge, moving cross-slide (in longitudinal Y-axis direction) with integrated turntable. This turntable can be used as a vertical turning station and as a full CNC-indexing table (C-axis). The machines can be equipped with a pallet handling system
(pallets from Ø 1.250 up to Ø 2.500 mm).
