At HK Laser Systems we have designed our operating software around our customers needs. The result is a system that is both easy to use, and sophisticated enough to satisfy the most demanding requirements, whether in an automated set-up or in a local stand-alone environment.

Our software can be used effectively by unskilled operators, whilst also offering connectivity and diagnostic facilities for more advanced operation.

Easy to use - Data is input through easy-to-understand dialog boxes with plain English descriptive prompts for intuitive learning. Operators with little or no laser marking experience can quickly become productive and competent in the use of the system.

Simple to set-up - Our operating software offers a selection of simple modules, which are selected to build up programs to any degree of complexity. Data can be input in plain text, serial text or date codes using a choice of system or True Type fonts, and artworks imported in a variety of formats. Text modules can also produce barcodes and 2D codes using the same information.

Each module is displayed on a graphics screen while the data is being entered. The display on screen allows you to view the data or artwork to be marked at a scale of 1:1 relative to the marking area.

Flexible Configuration - Programs can be viewed in a choice of formats, in addition to which the user can select other data displays showing machine status and diagnostic information, according to their requirements.

Dockable toolbars are available for ease of use and feature pop-up tool tips to assist the user. Key command shortcuts can be used in place of mouse operation.

Comprehensive diagnostics - On-screen plain English displays allow the user to easily monitor the status of system hardware and communications. If necessary, individual control boards can also be quickly called up for quick diagnosis. The system offers a remote interrogation facility via modem, ensuring rapid fault analysis and minimal downtime.
