H K Technologies was originally founded in 1959 as Hahn & Kolb (Great Britain) limited a wholly owned subsidiary of Hahn & Kolb Germany. Today HK Technologies is a solely owned British company run by the management.

We have a team of expert application engineers who are able to offer solutions on all types of manufacturing problems from CNC turning, wire cutting & laser marking to automatic assembly & super finishing
3. What does EDM stand for?
EDM stands for Electro Discharge Machining this is wire cutting using an electro current through the wire to shape metal or an electrode to sink the electrode form using an electro current.
4. Does the company have a service department?
We have a service & spares department based in Rugby with 8 (if you include Paul Webber & Scott Martin) service engineers on call for break-down, we also offer service contracts on all our machines
5. What is the response time on breakdown?
Through our service contracts we can offer response time of 24 hours anywhere in the UK, parts can also be supplied overnight for am delivery
6. Which industries predominantly use laser marking?
Nearly all manufacturing industries will have an application that could be laser marked, in recent years we have been very active in Medical, Motor Sport, Hallmarking & Aerospace to name a few
7. Which markets does HK Technologies Operate?
HK distributes and acts as an agent in the UK and Ireland for its overseas suppliers and sells Laser Marking systems throughout the World

HK manufactures and sells Laser Marking Systems throughout the world, we also provide Sub-Contract Laser Marking and Repair Sauter Turrets for the UK market.

We offer Spare parts and consumables for the machines that we supply, we also offer tooling solutions and Sub contract Laser Marking and Sauter Turret repair.
