Used for many years in a wide range of production environments including
Automotive, aerospace, medical and general engineering the Tool is a fully proven process.
Available in a range of sizes, the Spindle is fed through the hole, it is then rotated in the opposite direction to allow the
wing to be exposed and the Cutting Cycle to be performed. The Spindle is rotated once again in the original direction and retracted to complete
the operation.

Along with Backspot Facing, the tool can also be used to Chamfer in a range of angles, Counterbore and Debuur Components

The Erix tool offers significant advantages.
- The Backspot is produced in a fully automated cycle – and can be used on conventional and CNC Machines.
- Machine operator intervention is not required – removing any health and safety issues.
- Significant reduction in cycle times reducing component costs.
